| Comments: | Recruiting is defined by the NorCal Code of Ethics as contact or communication with a player registered to another NCPSL club and asking them to attend a tryout without giving written notice to the player's current club Director of Coaching or Head Coach. In this case, the letter sent by FC Elk Grove clearly asks players registered with other clubs to tryout for Elk Grove United without notifying the player's current club in advance. As such this is a violation of the NorCal Code of Ethics. For this violation FC Elk Grove is placed on probation for 1 year. Ben Ormsby is suspended for 5 games. |
