| Comments: | Evidence shows that Delta Soccer Club failed to notify Mr. Valerio of his suspension. Given that Mr. Valerio was not sent off and thus did not have reason to expect to be suspended, Norcal PAD does not punish Mr. Valerio for coaching this match. Mr. Valerio's suspension, however, will now run through May 11. Delta United is put on notice that it must notify its coaches when they are suspended and is warned to not fail to notify suspended individuals in the future.
In addition, the result of this match is nullified and a forfeit is declared in favor of Atletico Santa Rosa. The PAD Committee makes this decision because Delta allowed an ineligible coach to coach the game. Per Norcal rules using an ineligible coach results in a forfeit of the match. |
