| Incident Summary: | Allegation that Newark recruited an Alameda player to play for Newark's 2009 B ECNL team. Outside of the NorCal tryout window, the player trained with the Newark team without permission from Alameda's Director of Coaching. The player then agreed to join the Newark ECNL team during the spring NorCal season outside of the NorCal tryout window. |
| Comments: | It is a violation of the NorCal rules for an ECNL club that is part of NorCal to recruit a player from another NorCal club into their ECNL program outside of the NorCal tryout window. As a result, this is a violation of NorCal's rules against Recruiting. However, the 2009 Newark team does not play in any NorCal competitions and the Newark coach Dannylo Ayllon does not coach in any NorCal competition. As a result, the PAD Committee refers this matter to the NorCal Board of Directors for the imposition of sanctions. |
