| Incident Summary: | After a State Cup Final match the Ajax parents, spectators, and players disputed an offside call that nullified an Ajax goal. Despite the efforts of NorCal officials to de-escalate the situation, the behavior of the Ajax team, coaches and spectators continued for over 20 minutes. |
| Comments: | Behavior like this after a match is unacceptable.
Coaches and clubs are responsible for their behavior and the behavior of their spectators. The Coach of the Ajax team, Ryan Dailey, is suspended from coaching in any NorCal competition through March 31, 2022. The 8 game suspension Coach Dailey received for being sent off for his actions in this match shall be served after the completion of the suspension from all competitions that will end March 31. The PAD Committee recommends that the Executive Committee place Modesto Ajax on probation for 1 year. |
