|Incident Summary:||Allegation of a mass confrontation involving the San Bruno players leaving the bench. After this it is alleged that certain items were thrown by the San Bruno players towards the referee crew and the San Bruno players directed profanity and threats toward the San Carlos. In addition, it is alleged that San Bruno parents entered the field and verbally abused the match officials. |
|Comments:||After a hearing, the PAD Committee found that:|
1. A mass confrontation occurred and San Bruno players left the bench, though those San Bruno players have not been identified.
2. San Bruno players did throw items towards the referee crew though the players throwing items have not been identified.
3. It was not confirmed that the San Bruno players directed racial epithets towards the San Carlos players.
4. Several spectators associated with San Bruno did enter the field and verbally assault the match officials.
The coach of the San Bruno team, Osvaldo Gomez, is suspended 4 games - 2 games for failing to control his team's spectators, and 2 games for failing to control his team.
The PAD Committee recommends to the Board of Directors of NorCal Premier Soccer that San Bruno be placed on probation for a period of 1 year.
