| Comments: | The PAD Committee recommends to the NorCal Board of Directors that both clubs be placed on probation until January 1, 2024. The PAD Committee recommends to the NorCal Board of Directors that both teams be removed from State Cup competition. The Coach of the Mustang SC team, Nick Terzolo, and the Coach of the Real Atletico FC team, Juan Macias, are each suspended 4 games for failing to control the behavior of their teams and their teams' spectators.
Mustang SC appealed the PAD Committee's decision. On appeal, the NorCal Board of Directors rescinded the removal of both teams from the NorCal State Cup competition and suspended spectators of both teams from attending any remaining NorCal State Cup games for these teams in the 2022/23 season. The NorCal Board of Directors will review the probation status of both clubs, as a result of this incident, in January 2023. |
